This adds a focus to centre frame and takes the edge off the famous cleanliness of the Ultras. With distinct and dramatic flare characteristics arising from the single-coating and contrast reduction that’s pleasing to modern HD sensors – the subtle bloom of these lenses are flattering to skin-tones with roll-off suited to portraiture. Maintaining resolution in the middle of the frame along with the virtually non-existent breathing character of the donor lenses, this set is presented in the original, robust mechanical housings.
