ARRI Zeiss Master Primes
ARRI/Zeiss Master primes were engineered to the highest standards for both optical and mechanical design. The are virtually free of all aberrations, including focus breathing, something that had never before been achieved in a set of primes.
Master Primes are capable of producing images that are as beautiful as they are sharp. They are slightly warm in tone, and have some of the smoothest bokeh of any lenses. They perform best at T1.3, but even at deeper stops they produce amazing results; Emmanuel Lubezki shot Tree of LifeĀ at T8.
